About SQLI Barcelona 

Started in April 2018, SQLI Barcelona is the latest grand opening of the SQLI Group and the first agency in Spain. Achieving an exceptional growth, it currently totals 90 people and delivers Build, DevOps and QA services for international eCommerce platforms of blue chip companies.


The Account Manager is responsible for the commercial and administrative relationship with a number of active client accounts assigned to him/her. 

You are responsible for developing the business relationship at the highest level and implementing a commercial and marketing strategy for our agency and for the Group. Your focus is on achieving the sales and profit targets set for you by the Agency Director.

Our agency, SQLI Spain, federates the talents of unique individuals into strong and confident teams.


Main responsibilities:

  • Leverage on existing contacts and market knowledge to generate leads.  

  • Establish and maintain a benchmark of the competition in Catalunya. 

  • Define the tactical roadmap and the action plan to develop the market in Catalunya. 

  • Engage with the SQLI Group to understand and advertise our offering. 

  • Provide reports and maintain CRM information. 

  • Liaise with bid managers and operational teams to maximize wins. 


Mandatory experience:

  • 8+ years of experience as a sales manager in a similar company/agency at Barcelona: 

    • Integrated Digital Agency (from strategy, UX and graphical design to digital product delivery). 

    • 70+ employees. 

    • T&M consultancy services and FTFP projects. 

  • Proven track record as an account opener. 

  • Existing portfolio at Barcelona. 

  • Experience in selling eCommerce and digital solutions. 

  • Experience with multinational companies. 

  • Strong knowledge of the Barcelona and Spanish Digital Services market.
